I’ve been busy. You might have noticed a few changes to my page and what I write about. It’s no longer just about whatever outdoor experience I’ve had but also whatever music and books I’ve consumed.
I like to write and limiting myself to one thing seemed a bit stifling, and I always meant for Blanck Slate to be a place where I write about anything and everything.
So there you have it.
Personally, work has continued to be busy. I’ve been micro-managing my workloads as I’d previously worked myself to burnout. That needed to stop for my own mental health.
This strategy has been ongoing for a few weeks now and helping. Part of that is taking time away to just write and scratch the creative itch. I need this outlet.
Links to recent writing….
Black Abyss | An older piece about an experience ruminating on a problem.
Waking Moments | Part one about our winter Cairngorms traverse. This one is us spending our first Valentine's in a bothy.
Push On | Part two of our winter Cairngorms traverse. We had to abandon our plans due to the weather.

Cwmorthin | A walk up into Cwmorthin while on a trip to North Wales.
If you enjoy what I’ve written then please can I ask that you share where and when you can? I’m trying to raise my reading stats and subscription levels and I need help with that. I’d really appreciate it.
That’s it for now. Short and sweet.
Take care.
